Pure Water Is Now 30ps- NASPAWAP

Effective Monday, March 15, 2021, consumers of sachet water, popularly called pure water, are to pay 30ps instead of 20ps.

The National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers (NASPAWAP) announced the recent price change in a press statement.

Explaining the reason for the increase, the association said the decision is because of an increase in the cost of fuel and production since the last price increase in 2018.

A bag of pure water is therefore now expected to be sold at Ghc3.5 from distribution trucks while bulk (200bags and above) sale price or depot price will be sold at Ghc3.

However, the public may buy at Ghc4.5 to Ghc6 per bag from retail shops and marts depending on the location.
