“Be careful of how you apply to Colleges of Education.” The Principal of E. P. College of Education, Amedzofe advises qualified students who are yet to apply to colleges for the 2021/2022 academic year.

At the usual weekly general assembly, the Principal, Dr. Tsey Dickson seized the opportunity to admonish trainees to inform their siblings who are yet to apply to the colleges of Education to be vigilant. He stated emphatically that some colleges like Berekum College of Education, Accra College of Education, S.D.A college of Education and the likes, as competitive as they are, do not accept applicants with “Low WASSCE results.” He added that some colleges have cutoff points and so applicant with average or low grades stand a high chance of being transferred to other colleges far from their vicinity.

He said that, he is putting measures in place to curb “importing” students from other colleges especially those who did not apply to AMECO.

He disclosed that he was sensitising Senior High Schools within the vicinity about Applying to Ameco and making it first choice when applying. With that, he said applicants stands a high chance of be selected.

To be forewarned is to be forearmed. Choose E. P. College of Education, Amedzofe as your preferred college.
