Burkina Faso and Gabon will get the Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 underway on Sunday night.
While it would be fair to say neither side particularly lit up the group stages, tournament football is rarely the most expansive and you feel there’s more to come as we approach the business end of the festival of African football.
Indeed, both teams will feel confident they can overcome their opposition and make it into the quarter-finals.
