Former Chelsea defender is on the way of facing prosecution for treating his cat badly. The French international in a video boots his cat leaving the cat injured.
His club, West Ham United issued a statement condemning the inhuman of the defender.
West Ham Statement: “West Ham United unreservedly condemns the actions of our player, Kurt Zouma, in the video that has circulated. We have spoken to Kurt and will be dealing with the matter internally, but we would like to make it clear that we in no way condone cruelty towards animals.”
However, the West Ham center back has apologized for his cruel act.
Kurt Zouma: “I’m sorry. I apologise to the people shocked by the video. Both of our cats are doing well and are healthy. They are loved and cherished by our family, this was an isolated incident that will not happen again.”
Kurt Zouma could be prosecuted with his action, booting his cat like a football across his kitchen floor.
