Purpose of the position:
Responsible for scheduling and transporting goods to and from Logico as quickly and efficiently as possible. The Main duties will be tracking orders, handling delivery delays, coordinating with the Dispatch team and drivers to ensure all orders have been shipped out timeously.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain/Operations Management or Equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics in the FMCG Industry
Minimum 3 years working with an ERP or Transport Management System
• University degree is a competitive advantage
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, excellent planning and exceptional organizational skills with high level attention to detail Numerical and reasoning skills to deal with weights, measurements, costs, time and all other

Responsibilities:
Review and track all orders and trucks from Logico through to Customer Delivery and reverse
Logistics
Explore ways of decreasing shipping lead times
Engage drivers to optimize efficiency through compliance to TMS specifications
Coordinate with the Local Fleet & Dispatch Team by ensuring quicker turn-rounds
Solve any issues related to shipping delays
Fulfilling additional responsibilities and miscellaneous functions as required.
Review TMS and Drive Cams to ensure distribution operations are on schedule
Provide weekly reports on route adherence, waiting times, customer/ store performance
