The management of the National Teaching Council has finally revealed the date to conduct the 2022 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination for newly trained teachers from Colleges Of Education and Universities.

According to National Teaching Council, the first edition of the 2022 Licensure examination will begin on April 21 to 22, 2022.

This will be the eighth GTLE.
However, NTC says it will in due course release the timetable for the conduct of the examination.

In a similar development, the council says, it will in 2022 also rollout several reforms to improve the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination.

The reforms will include the introduction of subject-based testing which will examine the proficiency of teachers in their areas of specialization and the introduction of Computer-Based Testing (CBT) as we do away with paper and pen testing currently ongoing.
