It was a brilliant start to the UEFA Nations League (UNL) campaign for the Czech Republic after they opened with a 2-1 win against Switzerland. That was a huge result as boss Jaroslav Šilhavý said after the game that they are “fighting with the Swiss” to ensure they stay afloat in League A following their promotion last season.
